Playful Plans features unique, downloadable plans for wooden playthings. Every plan includes detailed step-by-step instructions, illustrations, historical and cultural notes, and photos. Look for them in our Find Plans section.

Regularly-updated articles on design and technique are also offered for free download in the Workshop.

The Playful Plans Blog features commentary on the history, fabrication and cultural context of wooden playthings past and present.

When not in the workshop Kevin can be found tending his vegetable garden, flyfishing the mountain streams or seeking additions to his vintage wooden toys collection.
